Red Tape Awareness Week

January 29th – February 2nd, 2024 marks the 15^th annual Red Tape Awareness Week, organized by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. This year, Ontario is being recognized by the CFIB with an A- grade for reducing red tape, matching the highest result we’ve ever received in their annual report card.

As part of this year’s Red Tape Awareness Week, the Ministry of Red Tape Reduction has updated its red tape reduction portal at Ontario.ca/redtape to make it easier for people to share their ideas on how the province can further remove burdensome regulations and improve services for people while reducing costs for businesses.
