PUPS Act

Ontario has tabled legislation that, if passed, will help stop unethical dog breeding operations and sales. The Preventing Unethical Puppy Sales (PUPS) Act will amend the Provincial Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) Act to stop harmful dog breeding practices that result from commercial-scale puppy mills.
