Ontario Welcomes Marvell Workforce Expansion to Support AI Infrastructure Development

The government has announced an investment of $238 million by Marvell Technology Inc., a leader in data infrastructure semiconductor solutions.

Through a five-year expansion, Marvell will launch a new office in Toronto, scale their semiconductor R&D operations in Ottawa and York Region and establish a new, state-of-the-art optical lab. The expansion will create up to 350 new, good-paying jobs across Ontario’s technology corridor and strengthen the province’s position as a global hub for semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
