Ontario Welcomes $85 Million Investment in Advanced Manufacturing Sector

The Ontario government has welcomed an investment of over $85 million from Sandvik a global, high-tech engineering group, to establish a new, state-of-the-art maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Greater Sudbury.

The investment will sustain 400 existing jobs and create more than 60 new, good-paying jobs, while reinforcing Northern Ontario’s leadership in advancing the development of next-generation tools and technologies needed to support rising demand for critical mineral processing infrastructure across strategic industries.
