The government is providing full rebates on liquor sales license fees for eligible Royal Canadian Legion branches applying for or renewing their liquor sales licenses across Ontario.
Effective June 1, 2026, and retroactive to April 1, 2026, this new rebate program will help nearly 400 eligible Legion branches reduce operating costs by almost $250,000 over five years, allowing them to dedicate more resources to supporting veterans, local charitable initiatives, remembrance activities and community programs.
