Ontario Providing Support to Victims and Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence and Human Trafficking

Solicitor General Jones announced that the government is investing $5.9 million through the new Victim Support Grant program to enhance service and supports available to survivors of intimate partner violence and human trafficking.

This funding is being provided to 37 police services across the province, 17 of which will focus on supporting and addressing the needs of Indigenous survivors and victims or strengthening relationships with Indigenous organizations and communities.

The government is bolstering their efforts to combat human trafficking and support victims and survivors of intimate partner violence.
