Ontario Providing More Supportive Housing for Vulnerable People

Minister Bethlenfalvy, Minister Clark and Minister Tangri announced that as of part of Budget 2023, the government is investing an additional $202 million annually in Ontario’s homelessness prevention programs to help those experiencing or at risk of homelessness and support community organizations delivering supportive housing.

This new funding builds on the government’s investment of nearly $4.4 billion over the past three years to grow and enhance community and supportive housing and address homelessness for vulnerable people – which included over $1.2 billion to service managers and Indigenous program administrators through the Social Services Relief Fund.
