Ontario Providing More Support for Municipal Transit Systems

Premier Ford announced that the government is providing municipalities with up to $505 million to help ensure municipal transit systems can continue to deliver safe and reliable transit services. The funding is being delivered through Phase 4 of the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement.

The following municipalities in the Simcoe North riding have been allocated funding up to the amounts listed below:

  • Midland $31,301
  • Orillia $248,057
  • Penetanguishene $32,630
  • Simcoe County $7,338
