The government has announced their latest step to protect Ontario and continue lowering costs to help more families realize the dream of homeownership.
As part of the upcoming Fall Economic Statement, we are rebating the full 8 per cent provincial portion of the HST for first-time home buyers on new homes valued up to $1 million — saving first-time homebuyers up to $80,000 and helping lower costs and spur the construction of more homes.
