Ontario investing in building rural community leaders

The government is helping build rural community leaders by committing up to $836,250 to the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies to provide training in leadership, governance, and community engagement. These enhanced skills will help the mainly volunteer leadership of Ontario’s more than 200 agricultural societies continue to educate people about the importance of agriculture and celebrate rural life.
