Ontario Investing An Additional $30 Million to Protect Forestry Workers

The government is investing a further $30 million to protect businesses, workers and communities dependent on the province’s forest sector. This new funding will build and maintain more forestry access roads and provide immediate support for Ontario sawmills to find new markets for their woodchips. 

Our government has been there for forestry workers across the province, but we cannot do it without the federal government. It is more important now than ever for them to step up and start matching the significant support Ontario has provided.
