Ontario Investing $19.5 Million to Establish the Centre for Fusion Energy

The Ontario government has announced a $19.5 million investment to establish the Centre for Fusion Energy (CFE). This initiative will advance nuclear research and build Ontario’s energy capacity, creating jobs and further positioning the province as a global leader in fusion innovation.

By building on our province’s nuclear advantage, the government is protecting Ontario’s competitive advantage. Through research and commercialization, this Centre will foster innovation, attract investment and support the growth of a highly skilled workforce.
