Ontario Investing $1 Billion in Skills Development Fund to Protect Workers

The government has announced our most recent action to protect Ontario in the face of U.S. tariffs by investing in workers and making sure they have the support they need to succeed, no matter what comes our way.

The announcement of nearly $1B being invested to expand the Skills Development Fund brings our total support in skills training to $2.5B, helping organizations such as unions and businesses deliver better training programs to train more workers for in-demand jobs across the province and build new training facilities.
