Ontario Improving Mental Health Care for Postsecondary Students
The government is proud to announce the $5 million investment through Ontario’s 2023-24 Mental Health Call for Proposals process, toward mental health and addictions services in primary care. This funding will help fill large gaps in available services for northeastern, eastern and south-central Ontario communities.
By making it easier for future health care workers to access world-class training through this grant, we’re helping to build a stronger, more resilient health care workforce in the communities that need it most. To ensure the unique needs of each community are being met, institutions will work with community-based non-profit organizations to develop and deliver their projects to increase access to the mental health and addictions services they need, when they need it.
