Ontario has Administered Over Seven Million Boosters

More than seven million Ontarians have received their booster dose! This includes over 74% of Ontarians 50+ and more than 54% of those 12+.

While the Omicron variant remains highly transmissible, the COVID-19 vaccine provides strong protection against severe outcomes. A booster dose has been shown to reduce the risk of severe illness, such as hospitalization, by approximately 90%.

Through mass-vax sites, hospital clinics, employer-led clinics, pharmacies, and primary care clinics, the capacity is in place and appointments are available for Ontarians who want to get their first, second or booster dose today.
