Ontario Giving Police More Tools to Monitor Registered Sex Offenders
The government will soon introduce legislation to help police better monitor sex offenders.
Proposed changes to Christopher’s Law will strengthen Ontario’s Sex Offender Registry by equipping police with more tools to help prevent and investigate sex crimes.
The legislation will also include a component that will prohibit convicted sex offenders from legally changing their names in Ontario so they can’t hide their identities.
