Ontario Expanding Senior Active Living Centres
Ontario has announced a Call for Proposals is open today until September 12, 2024, at 5pm to expand Seniors Active Living Centres (SALCs) across the province that keep seniors stay fit, active, healthy, socially connected in their communities.
Due to the overwhelming success of Ontario’s more than 300 Seniors Active Living Centres Ontario is now looking to have more organizations deliver Seniors Active Living Centre programs. In addition to municipalities, recent changes now allow other local and community-based organizations such as Legions, Lion’s Clubs, and recreational clubs to apply.
The Ministry will also be holding information webinars for those interested in submitting a call for proposal. If you would like to learn more about the program and how to complete and submit your application, please register for one of the dates below:
