Ontario Doubling Fire Protection Grant to Protect More Firefighters

The government is doubling the investment made into Fire Protection Grant from $10 million in year 1 to $20 million in year 2.

The Fire Protection Grant provides municipal fire services from across the province with funding to purchase equipment and supplies for cancer prevention initiatives, equipment to address lithium-ion battery fires and infrastructure upgrades and modernization.
