Ontario Connecting Over 300,000 People to Primary Care

The government is investing $110 million across the province to help more than 300,000 people connect to primary care, bringing the province one step closer to ensuring that all Ontarians can connect to a primary care provider. This investment marks one year since the launch of Your Health: A Plan for Connected and Convenient Care, the province’s bold and innovative plan to deliver the right care in the right place, ensure faster access to care and hire more health care workers.

The 53 new and 25 expanded teams to will add over 400 new primary care providers to connect up to 328,000 more Ontarians to an interprofessional primary care team.
