National Volunteer Week

It’s National Volunteer Week! From April 14^th – 20^th we’re recognizing volunteers and all the ways they help build stronger and more vibrant communities. We encourage all MPPs to celebrate National Volunteer Week by visiting local organizations and thanking their dedicated volunteers for all they do to drive positive change.

National Volunteer Week also provides the opportunity to invite local organizations and constituents to nominate outstanding volunteers who go above and beyond in service to their community with one of our governments awards recognizing volunteers, such as the Volunteer Service Award, Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Volunteerism and the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students.
