National Indigenous History Month

June 1st marks the beginning of National Indigenous History Month.

In recognition of the government’s focus on advancing meaningful reconciliation with Indigenous partners, local Indigenous events and gatherings will happen throughout the month to help you learn more about the diverse histories, cultures and experiences of Indigenous peoples who helped shape the province.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated on June 21.
