National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is Ontario’s third observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day to honour residential school survivors and remember the children who did not make it home. It is also Orange Shirt Day, inspired by Indian Residential School Survivor Phyllis Webstad.

Show your support on September 30th by wearing an orange shirt from an Indigenous vendor or organization, listening to Indigenous voices, and learning about the painful legacy of the Indian Residential School system.
