Magna International Further Strengthens Ontario’s End-to-End EV Supply Chain

The government welcomed a $471 million investment by auto supplier Magna International, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers. With $23.6 million in support from our government, this transformative investment will create more than 1,000 new well-paying jobs for workers across the province. This investment includes the opening of a brand new $265 million EV battery enclosure facility in Brampton later this year, as well as expansions to existing automotive manufacturing facilities across the province
