Just one more day until the coronation of his Majesty King Charles III

There’s just one more sleep until the coronation of his Majesty King Charles III.

Saturday, May 6 at 11:15 a.m., Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Premier Doug Ford, Speaker Ted Arnott and Indigenous leaders will participate in a flag raising ceremony, 21-gun salute and drum circle at Queen’s Park. 

Following the ceremony, ‘Coronation Celebration: A Fun Royal Fair’ will be held on the south lawn from noon to 6:00 p.m. The celebration will include free family fun activities, including carnival rides, live entertainment and complimentary food and beverages from Ontario farmers and processors. Both the ceremony and the Coronation Celebration are open to the public, free of charge.

Additionally, ten cultural attractions and 39 provincial parks across Ontario will be offering free admission on May 6.
