Experience Ontario 2024

Festivals and events benefit communities by drawing more visitors who stay longer in local accommodations, eat in restaurants, shop at local retailers and support local businesses.  As Minister Lumsden referenced at this week’s Caucus Meeting, the Experience Ontario 2024 program opened today for applications. This means that the operators of festival and events who apply for this round will be notified earlier than last year.

Beginning today, you’re encouraged to inform your applicable local stakeholders that the applications for events taking place between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 are now being accepted. Attached are support products to assist you in that effort.

Experience Ontario is a highly competitive program. Applications will be measured against program criteria and there is no guarantee of funding, including for past recipients.
