Emergency Preparedness Week 2023: “A Safe, Practiced, and Prepared Ontario”

Emergency Preparedness (EP) Week takes place next week from May 7-13, 2023. Aligning with our Provincial Emergency Management Strategy and Action Plan, Ontario’s theme for 2023 is “A Safe, Practiced and Prepared Ontario.”

As we recognize EP Week, the government is taking action to ensure that communities across Ontario have the resources they need to be safe, practiced and prepared before, during and after emergencies and natural disasters. The more practiced and prepared we are for emergencies and natural disasters, the quicker we can respond, keep the province safe,  and ensure Ontarians continue to have access to essential services.
