Dual Credits Program Expansion

Minister Lecce, Minister Bethlenfalvy, PA Barnes and PA Rae announced an additional $4.8 million in funding over two years to expand Ontario’s Dual Credits program. The Dual Credits program prepares students in Ontario for the jobs of tomorrow and for success in our modern economy.

This expansion in funding will provide over 2,200 students with more opportunities to earn college credits and take apprenticeship training while in high school, further enabling them to pursue a rewarding career in the skilled trades.

The government is providing students with the skills and learning opportunities that will help them discover the rewarding and in-demand careers available in the skilled trades.
