Delivering Choice & Convenience
Ontario has announced that phase one of the government’s plan to deliver choice and convenience is being implemented sooner than planned.
Starting Thursday July 18, licensed grocery stores will be able to order ready-to-drink beverages and large beer pack sizes, and they can begin selling them immediately upon arrival, rather than waiting until August 1 as was originally planned. The government is also making regulatory changes to help bars and restaurants access wine and spirits in order to manage inventory and ensure consistent supply of products.
These changes will help bars and restaurants access their desired product quickly and conveniently, and it will allow Ontario consumers to grab their favourite drink of choice while at the grocery store.
