Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund

The government is investing up to $200 million over three years to revitalize or construct new local sport and recreation facilities in communities across the province.

The Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund was announced as part of the 2024 Budget: Building a Better Ontario.

The government wants to ensure that new and upgraded facilities remain the heart of communities across this province for decades to come. The fund is a competitive, application-based program open to municipalities and non-profit organizations.  More information about eligibility and program guidelines will be provided when the fund launches in Summer 2024.  Caucus and staff will be further briefed at that time
